McKenzie Schexnayder, PA-C, was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 2018. She then furthered her studies and gained a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Louisiana State University in Shreveport in 2022. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed by the state of Texas to practice medicine.
After graduating in August 2022, McKenzie moved to Houston for a big change and to start her medical career at Pasha Snoring and Sinus Center. McKenzie enjoys practicing in ENT, providing expert care in the clinic, and actively participating in cutting-edge surgical procedures. Her favorite part of her job is witnessing patients’ improvement in breathing, allergy relief, embracing healthy lifestyle changes, and experiencing overall better sleep. She is passionate about empowering patients to make lifestyle choices for healthier lives and emphasizing the prevention of over-reliance on medications. McKenzie has acquired significant knowledge in the past year from our team and eagerly anticipates the future as our practice continues to expand daily.
McKenzie loves everything the Houston area has to offer, from being a leading city in the medical field to shopping, concerts, and everything in between. In her spare time, she enjoys trying out all of Houston’s hot spots, Pilates classes throughout the area, reading a good book, and cheering on the LSU Tigers in Death Valley.
