Here at the Pasha Snoring & Sinus Center, 2017 has started with a bang! We began the New Year by launching a new website and we are so excited to share it with you and hear all of your feedback. Our overarching goal is to make the information on our website easy to digest and accessible for all of Houston. The focus is YOU and we are dedicated to a seamless, user-friendly experience! In this blog, we’ll serve as your trusty tour guide and take you on an expedition to explore our new Sinus & Allergy page.
Our Sinus & Allergy page is divided into four main subpages: (1) Overview; (2) In-Office Procedures; (3) Surgical Solutions; and (4) Home Immunotherapy/Sublingual Drops. We’ll take a look at each area in turn, starting off with the Overview subpage.
Our Overview subpage covers the basics by giving you a brief overview of what allergies and sinuses are, as well as our approach to treating these issues. This is followed by an anatomy section, which describes where your sinuses and sinus cavities are located. The content on this subpage ends with some sinus and allergy terms, including symptoms of sinusitis. At the bottom of the page, you’ll notice a “Learn More” button. Clicking this link takes you to the Sinus & Allergy page in our Education Library. Our Education Library is a great resource for additional information concerning our areas of expertise. Think of our Overview subpage as an introduction to sinuses and allergies and the Sinus & Allergy page in the Education Library as a more in-depth resource about the same topic.
In-Office Procedures Subpage
The second subpage on our Sinus & Allergy Page is In-Office Procedures. This subpage covers the four main in-office procedures that we offer to our patients: (1) Home Immunotherapy/Sublingual Drops; (2) Corticosteroid Sinus Implants; (3) In-Office Balloon Sinuplasty; and (4) Radiofrequency Ablative Therapy of the Turbinate. You’ll see a brief description of each of the in-office procedures along with links. Similar to the Overview page, these links will take you to our Education Library where you can learn more about each respective in-office procedure. Each link includes a FAQ section where we answer some of the most common questions our patients have about our in-office procedures. Topics encompass insurance, length of treatment, recovery time, and more.
Surgical Solutions Subpage
Next up is the Surgical Solutions subpage. The way this subpage is structured is identical to the In-Office Procedures subpage. Featured are the surgical procedures that we offer for allergy and sinus relief: (1) Endoscopic Sinus Surgery; (2) Partial Turbinate Reduction; (3) Stereotactic Guidance System; (4) Genioglossal Advancement; (5) Corticosteroid Sinus Implants (Propel Sinus Implant); (6) Advanced Sinus Surgery; (7) Septoplasty; and (8) Nasal Valve Reconstruction. You may start to see a theme here. There is a short description for each surgical solution along with links that will take you to our Education Library. These links dive deep into each surgical procedure that we offer at the Pasha Snoring & Sinus Center. Each link contains a FAQ section where we cover some of the most common questions our patients have about our surgical solutions. Topics include recovery time, length of procedure, and more. There are also a number of videos that you can view at your convenience.
Home Immunotherapy/Sublingual Drops Subpage
The final subpage on our revitalized Sinus & Allergy page is Home Immunotherapy/Sublingual Drops. This subpage is organized a little differently, as it’s split into two main sections. The first section covers the benefits of home immunotherapy, the procedure we have in place so you can administer the shots or drops in the comfort of your own home, and how immunotherapy works from a medical perspective. This is followed by a FAQ section which includes the most common questions we receive about immunotherapy. The second section takes a look at sublingual immunotherapy, or allergy drops, as an alternative to allergy shots and the benefits this approach provides. The subpage ends with a FAQ section of commonly-asked questions about sublingual immunotherapy.
Schedule an Appointment Online
There is one feature that appears on each subpage we’ve discussed that we wanted to save for the end! On the right side of each subpage, you’ll find an online form to schedule an appointment at either of our locations. This makes it convenient for you to schedule an appointment quickly on the same subpage you are interacting with instead of navigating to the standalone Schedule an Appointment page.
This concludes our tour of the Sinus & Allergy page. We hope that we’ve created the ultimate user experience for you and we would love to hear your thoughts on ways we can further improve our website. Enjoy exploring the site!
