New to the Pasha Snoring and Sinus Center?

We’ll show you how to prepare for your visit and what to expect while you’re here.

Before your session starts, you’ll first need to complete all the paperwork required by law, such as your insurance information.

You can save a lot of time by filling the forms online instead of when you arrive. If you do need to fill out the forms at our Center, please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to take care of it.

If you have an HMO, managed care plan, or Medicare advantage program, make sure that a referral has been received by calling us.

As a courtesy to our patients, we have an in-house verification specialist who will verify your insurance before your appointment.

Be sure to take a moment to understand your benefits, including deductibles, co-pays, maximal allowances, and co-insurances. Please note that Dr. Pasha is an in-network provider.

If you’re a sleep apnea or sinus patient that has been seen by another healthcare provider, please try to bring your previous sleep study, your CPAP machine, or the actual CT scan on a disk. Also avoid taking any antihistamines 3 days before your visit, in case Dr. Pasha tests you for allergies.

For your first visit, plan on spending about an hour with us to ensure you benefit from a complete, high quality experience.

While Dr. Pasha has two Physician Assistants to help out, he insists that he sees all his patients personally. Sometimes Dr. Pasha is delayed because of surgery cases taking longer than expected or an unforeseen emergency, so please be understanding if there is a delay.

To be sure, check to see if your appointment is still on time. Or, bring something with you in case there’s a delay.

Now on to what to expect during your visit…

If you are having sinus issues, like a dry painful nose, he’ll get to the bottom of the cause. He may place a small scope in your nose and show you parts of your body you’ve never seen before. Don’t worry, this doesn’t hurt a bit.

He may order an in-office CT scan to get details of your sinuses, or a detailed allergy test. What he won’t do is just guess and send you off with some generic medications.

As one of the foremost snore specialists of the region, Dr. Pasha will show you the difference between a minor snoring condition and a serious sleep apnea disorder. You may be surprised how quickly he’ll come to some very specific conclusions by just looking at you. Typically, he’ll provide several possible remedies and make sure that you understand the benefits and risks of your choice.

Don’t be taken back if he questions why you are on certain medications. Or if he asks about your lifestyle including eating habits and exercise or how you manage stress. Dr. Pasha is a huge proponent of wellness and behavior health.

At your visit, bring questions on paper or better yet, bring a friend or loved one. Dr. Pasha believes in meaningful change and welcomes all the support by friends and family.

Above all, he wants you to understand and be engaged in your health. He may even give you one of his books to read or have you take a video as he courses through the anatomy of your upper airway.

We look forward to seeing you!
